eqnx

From Hugo's wiki

eqnx (equinox) is a library for composing applications by merging independent plugins. It is single-threaded, event-based and easy to use.

Note The repository is archived.

Plugins are autonomous components that draw on a character matrix and can orchestrate other subcomponents, so the developer controls the layout and how interaction is distributed between them.

Building a program

eqnx can generate a script that runs an eqnx program (see eqnx -h):

$ ./eqnx -p esx/calendar.esx -s plugins/ --build

Calendar

$ eqnx -p esx/calendar.esx

A plugin to see and edit tasks stored in a TOML file: the newest version of todo.

Key Action
hjkl Move
C-n, C-p Next / previous month
esc Close the current view
c Create a task in a day

Buttons can also be clicked with the mouse.

zrun

A Rust rewrite of zrun as an eqnx program:

$ ./zrun_eqnx/zrun.sh
