--- title: gogh-theme related: - "[nvim-gogh](nvim-gogh.md)" - "[st](st.md)" categories: - Configuration and themes --- **gogh-theme** is a [base16](https://github.com/tinted-theming/home) scheme repository for **Gogh**, a dark theme built from an existing kitty config. It generates themed configs for kitty and Neovim from one 16-color palette, and ships as an installable Neovim colorscheme. ![Gogh palette](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/hugoocoto/gogh-theme/main/palette/gogh.png) ## Layout | Path | Contents | |---|---| | `schemes/gogh.yaml` | The palette (`base00`–`base0F`): the single source of truth | | `templates/` | Mustache templates for kitty and the Neovim colorscheme | | `colors/gogh.lua`, `lua/base16-colorscheme.lua` | The generated Neovim colorscheme | | `base16-builder-php/` | Submodule that renders scheme + template | | `base16-spectrum-generator/` | Submodule that renders the palette preview | ## Building ``` $ ./build.sh ``` It renders every template against every scheme into `output/`, copies the Neovim colorscheme into `colors/`, and renders the palette image. CI runs it on every push and commits the results, so plugin managers that clone `main` get `colors/*.lua` without building. Adding a theme is adding a `schemes/.yaml` and rerunning `build.sh`. ## See also - [Source code](https://github.com/hugoocoto/gogh-theme) - [Neovim install instructions](https://github.com/hugoocoto/gogh-theme/blob/main/NVIM.md)
