wallpapers

From Hugo's wiki

wallpapers is my collection of wallpapers plus a small script, wallpaper, that sets them as the background through awww, with animated transitions.

The gallery shows every image; it is regenerated by CI when the images change.

Usage

./wallpaper [-m mode] [-r <dir>] [-t <seconds>] [-T <transition>] [-d <seconds>] [-k] [<image>]
Option Description
-m mode fill, fit, stretch or center (default fill)
-r dir Rotate through random images from a directory (recursive)
-t seconds Rotation interval (default 60; <= 0 sets one image only)
-T type Transition: fade, wipe, wave, grow, random, none...
-d seconds Transition duration (default 1)
-k Stop any running rotation
$ ./wallpaper -r walls                    # rotate every 60 s
$ ./wallpaper -r walls -t 300 -T wipe -d 2
$ ./wallpaper -m fit some.jpg
$ ./wallpaper -k

Only one rotation loop runs at a time: each call stops the previous one (tracked with a pidfile, under a lock).

It is also available through the pm user repository.
